Wine tour - Dalmatia


The meeting in the morning at a pre-arranged place (also possible meeting in Split and transfer to Dubrovnik).

Accommodation: ride comfortable van or mini-bus to Konavli or Cavtat, depending on the contracted accommodation. Accommodation in rooms and continue their journey in fifteen minutes from the heart Konavli field for a taste of local wine (Malvasia, Zinfandel, Merlot, Prosecco).

This is followed professionally guided tasting of 4 wines along with a description of wine production, as will be offered two kinds of homemade cheese, ham, bread, salad, homemade cake or fruit.

Cavtat: After the degustation trip to Cavtat and afternoon.

Dinner with wine in the afternoon, tour the vineyard cellars of Dubrovnik. A short story about the origin of the vineyards of how to grow grapes and presentation of grape varieties and wines produced. Then go to the restaurant at 4-course dinner with carefully selected wines from Konavli, but also the rest of the Croatian. This tasting is led by an enologist and the guests are going to learn more about wine tasting Croatian and principles of pairing food and wine.



After breakfast and check-out heading for the nearby Čilipe the folklore show only the final brush stroke on a stormy watercolor emotions. Head towards the peninsula, guarding former Dubrovnik Republic, now an inevitable stop for all lovers of wine most famous Croatian wine varieties - small pumice.

Ston: arrive in Ston, a medieval town more than 700 years, with roots deep in the Neolithic. The first thing we see monumental defense system across the hill connects to Ston and Mali Ston. The fortification system, unique in Europe, built in the early 14th century and is approximately 5.5 kilometers. Ston also boasts the salt works which was for centuries one of the most important industry in the village.

Lunch in Ston, a lunch and, of course, from Mali Ston oysters. After lunch we continue our trip, and we stop at the first wine tasting. In the afternoon we arrive in Orebic town captain; accommodation in hotel / accommodation and go to the next wine tasting.

Birthplace of Marco Polo: Free evening to stroll the beautiful sandy beaches or a boat trip to the nearby island of Korcula and visit the house of Marco Polo.



After breakfast, tour of the most important areas of Plavac Mali, the steep southern slopes of the peninsula, at Dingač and Postup. This is where the story of the divine nectar that ordinary mortals always leaves in disbelief. Stories Dingač surpass reality are continue their journey into the supernatural realm, thus opening space for a modern myth.

Lunch: after the first wine tasting, lunch at one of the many family farms, but only where those courageous allowed to ride the donkeys.

Korcula: afternoon we expect another tasting, followed by a free evening (may be arranged in the manner of slow-food-and wine bar in Korcula).



After breakfast departure to Imotski, a small town along the Blue, and close to Red Lake. Red Lake is the deepest karst lake in Europe with a depth of over 300 meters and the bottom is below sea level. Lunch with wine: after a tour of the lake go to the fertile valley of Imotski where we enjoy tasting wine and champagne, as well as rich traditional lunch.

Split / Trogir - UNESCO: the road leads us further to Split (or Trogir, depending on accommodation) where we arrive in the afternoon. Accommodation and evening city tour with a licensed tour guide. Free evening for the Mediterranean atmosphere that you can almost feel the walking streets, squares and promenades these year old monuments (under UNESCO protection).



After breakfast we go to Skradin, a town of barely five hundred inhabitants, the area that has been inhabited since the Neolithic period 3 500 years the first data about the town of Skradin was around the year 33

Eno-gastronomic experience: what got us this time here for the eno-gastronomic experience, one of the most beautiful in Croatia. Wine culture is known  in this region since ancient times and it is no wonder that the debit (an indigenous grape variety exclusively to the area of Skradin and Drniš) back in 1932 at the wine fair in Toulouse won the Grand Prix and was voted one of six the best wines in the world. We will tasted five types of wine with a description of the region, varieties, production methods, aging, and the organoleptic characteristics of each wine, pairing food and wine philosophy (extra package in the manner of slow-food for groups of 6 or more people).

Krka National Park in near of Skradin is kind of natural beauty that will momentarily take away the primacy of wine and intoxication of this nectar you dizzy own harmony and unspeakable beauty. Refreshed, we're ready for more. Let's go to Sibenik, the oldest Croatian town on the Adriatic.

Dinner: Everything is ready for another challenge wine. In a beautiful area in the heart of the city, next to the Cathedral of St.. James (under UNESCO protection) will welcome us dinner of five courses matched with wine arrangement and told through the story of one of the most honest wine and food enthusiasts. After dinner and stroll through Šibenik common regret, we return.



After breakfast transfer to the bus station / airport.
